Transfer Data Between Your Phone and USB Device Using a USB OTG Cable

You can use a USB OTG cable to read data stored on a USB storage device, such as a USB flash drive or card reader.

 

  • This feature is not available on all phones.

  • If your phone has a Type-C port, you will need to purchase a HONOR-certified micro-USB to Type-C adapter or a USB OTG cable with a Type-C connector.

Transfer Data from Your Phone to a USB Flash Drive

  1. Use a USB OTG cable to connect your phone to the USB flash drive.

  2. Go to Files > Browse > USB drive, browse the data in the USB flash drive, select the data that you would like to copy, and then copy it to the target folder.

  3. After you have completed this process, go to Settings > Storage > USB drive > Unmount .
